The Tuesday lunchtime concert this week is Jonathan Wiseman - solo guitar, Royal Academy of Music

Growing the Church at All Saints: session 2 Monday 26 September in church. If you were away or had other commitments last week, it’s not too late to join in as we to come together to think and pray for our vision for growing the church. It’s an opportunity to discover together God’s plans for All Saints. Light supper from 7.15pm and the sessions will begin with worship at 7.50pm.

Breathe – Wednesday 28 September at 8pm in All Saints. An informal time of worship, prayer and bible study. All welcome.

Harvest Festival, Sunday 2 October – All Saints’ this year are supporting The One Can Trust, based at St Andrews Church, with their Harvest gifts. Please see the flyer at the back of church giving further information and the ‘shopping list’ of items the One Can Trust would like to receive.

Operation Christmas Child - All Saints will be joining the shoe box scheme again this year. To take part just look out for a medium sized shoe box and be ready to fill it with small gifts and useful items for a deprived child. Leaflets with more details will be out in October. SR Committee

Karaoke Disco & West Indian Buffet - Do you like a sing song and a dance. Well come along to our karaoke disco for our Harvest Supper on Saturday 1 October. Tickets will be on sale from today, Sunday 18 Sept, £5 per person including buffet. Please bring your own alcohol, soft drinks provided. 7 – 8pm will be the “children’s karaoke” and then from 8pm onwards the adults karaoke disco. The Friends will be selling the new church Christmas Cards after the 9.45 services from Sunday 2 October. Cards are available in packs of 10, £2.50 and £3.

To all going to War Horse 4 October Please be outside the Empire Cinema by 4-55pm so we can begin loading the coach. As you get on board Carolyne will hand you your theatre tickets. Are you interested in becoming a Town centre Chaplain? The town centre chaplaincy are holding a taster session on Saturday 24 September, 11am, at The Wesley Methodist Church on Priory Road. (Coffee served from 10.30am). For further information contact The Revd Yvonne Murphy on 07847 367366.

On 26 November there will be a concert in the church like the one we held last Christmas. We will be looking for mainly amateur performers who have musical and acting skills. All Saints Church will be open all afternoon that day with free entry to the concert. You can come and go as you please. Although there will be no entry charge your donations to church funds will be welcome. The reason for telling you about the concert this early is for those of you who are learning an instrument or act to practise your skills. Help with refreshments on the day will be welcome. BibleLands, is running an event on Wednesday 12 October. The church of St Peter and St Paul has kindly agreed to host a talk by Mrs Maha Yasmineh-Tarayrah, a BibleLands partner and Deputy Director of the Princess Basma Centre for Disabled Children on the Mount of Olives in East Jerusalem. The evening starts at 7pm for 7.30pm and is free. Refreshments will be provided. The venue will be the church of St Peter & St Paul in Church Lane, Great Missenden, HP16 0BA (further details at www.missendenchurch.org.uk)
