News

Monday lunchtime concerts - this week musicians from the Royal College of Music.

Prayer for All Saints – will next meet on Saturday 5 May in the Quiet Garden at 10.00am to pray for the church, especially for our mission and our life together during this time of vacancy. All welcome.

Ringappeal: Our next fund raising event will be a sponsored handbell peal. This will involve five ringers, each with two bells, and will take place in the Quiet Garden (north chapel) after morning service on Sunday 6 May. The peal will start between 11.15 and 11.30 a.m. and will take about 2 hours and 40 minutes of continuous ringing to complete. The church will be open for spectators to listen and watch (from a distance). Please support us by visiting the church around lunchtime that day and by offering sponsorship. Thank you.

There will be a Welcome Tea in All Saints on Sunday 13 May, 3-5pm. If you are fairly new to All Saints’, this is an opportunity to meet people and find out more about our community. Children’s activities will be provided and do bring along friends too. Please let us know you are coming by contacting the Parish Office.

Tickets for the Diamond Jubilee Quiz on 1 June are now available from the Social Responsibility Committee after church or from the Coffee Shop. Bring your friends - the more the merrier. SR Committee.

Lent Jars – Many thanks for your collection and gift aid labels. £109.52 has been sent to WaterAid as a result. SR Committee.

Part-time Children’s Minister (20 hours per week)
We are seeking an experienced Children’s Minister to take our work with children and their families within All Saints to the next level, to develop and support volunteers and to develop links with the wider community in High Wycombe. All Saints has a sacramental approach to worship. Our aim is to develop a linked approach to weekly parish and children’s worship through, for example, the use of the Lectionary and other activities throughout the year.
The post is subject to enhanced CRB clearance and has a genuine occupational requirement that means this role is aimed at Christian applicants.
For further information, or to apply please submit your CV with a covering letter, no later than 30 April 2012 to:

Plant stall reminder (It’s 9 June for church funds) Please bring your plants to church on Friday 8 June, 6pm, all labelled, and not too heavy, tall or tiny to sell please. I’d also like a few helpers and lots of customers, as well as plants! Thanks. Rosemary Vere

MiniComs! Sunday 20 May from 3.00pm to 4.30pm in All Saints' there'll be fellowship, teaching and some holy fun solely for children who receive Communion. On Sunday 1 July, MiniComs joins in with "Praise on the Rye", a chilled out act of worship on The Rye opposite Trinity United Reformed Church at 3.00pm. Parents/carers welcome.
