There will be no Tuesday Lunchtime concert in All Saints’ this week.

Hymns with Pimms on Saturday 9 July at 3pm – Last chance to buy
tickets and submit your bid! The highest 10 bids received by
Monday 4 July are guaranteed to have their hymns sung on the day. Check out the “bidding war” on the chart at the back of church.
The afternoon tea will cost £5 and tickets will be on sale for the last time on Sunday 3 July.

Plant Stall Saturday 9 July The plant stall will start at 2pm not 3pm. Plants may be brought on the day to church but preferably Friday evening from 6pm for sorting and pricing. Don’t forget to label items please.

Midday Prayer now takes place in All Saints every day, when there is a pause at noon to offer prayers and reflections to God. All are very welcome.

Used Postage Stamps - they may be taken to The South Bucks Hospice shop in White Hart Street where they will be sent to their head office for recycling.

Summer Barbeque This will be in the churchyard on Saturday 16 July from 11-3pm. It's another way for churches in the town to share the love of God in word and action. We need folk to help set up, serve the food, chat to people and clear up afterwards. Coach Trip to Wells Cathedral, 6 August 2011
The trip will include a group tour of the cathedral and we can enjoy a
concert rehearsal there, which is in preparation for a full Baroque
Concert on a later date. Tickets £16 for adults, £6 for children. Cheques payable to All Saints PCC. Please book through the Social Responsibility Committee or Church Office, leaving an envelope marked ‘coach trip’ with cheque, names of those travelling and a contact telephone number. Quiz Tea in aid of Ringappeal Saturday afternoon 3 September. Please put this note in your diaries early as we hope for a fun afternoon. The Quiz will take the form more of a Hunt around Church, getting to know corners and items you may never have seen or read before and there will be a prize for the winner. The Quiz will start at 3.00pm. and will be followed by Afternoon Tea. £5 for Adults and £3 for children. Please bring your friends and Tickets will be on sale in a few weeks' time. A theatre trip to see Warhorse Before booking seats for sometime in September we would like to know how many of you would like to go. We can then work out costs and a possible date. The larger the group the better the discount on coach and tickets. As with other trips we will be setting aside a few seats for our Homeless Community to have the use of. Friends of Buckinghamshire’s Historic Churches are holding an
illustrated autumn talk on ‘Literary Bucks’, and this will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday 16 September in St Mary’s church in Haddenham. The talk will focus on buildings in Buckinghamshire associated with famous writers. Tickets are available from Nick Morgan 0n 01844 291217 for £7 which includes a glass of wine.

The Tuesday Lunchtime concert in All Saints’ this week will be performed by The Brooke Ensemble.

A date for your diary - RINGAPPEAL: The bellringers have booked the town centre street collection, in aid of the tower and bells restoration, for Saturday 2 July and need volunteers. If anyone could help by "shaking" a tin for an hour or two that day between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m., please contact Tricia Newton (01844 352926).

Breathe – Weds 29 June at 8pm in All Saints. An informal time of worship, prayer and bible study. All Welcome.

Child Protection Training – All Saints is running a session on Child Protection Training on Thurs 30 June in the Oakley Hall at 7.30pm. Contact Helen in the Parish Office if you have not already signed up but feel this is a session you should attend.

We need to dispose of some surplus church chairs which are currently in the container by the end of July. Some of them have woodworm and, therefore, are only suitable for outdoor use. If you could make use of some, please contact Hazel the Verger.

A theatre trip to see Warhorse Its rare to find a show which is attractive to both adults and children while being one of the biggest theatre success stories in recent years. This play has just picked up a clutch of Tony Awards with more awards to come. We are lucky to have a member of our congregation working at the theatre. Toddlers, Prayer Team, Refreshments, Site team, even Cleaners are a vital part of this outreach to children. Please consider how you could help, even for a small part of the week. The People’s Bible is a national tour which will produce a unique, hand-written edition of the Bible. At venues across the country, people will be able to write a pair of verses to join the occasion and make their mark in history. For further information go to www.thepeoplesbible.org

The Tuesday Lunchtime concert in All Saints’ this week will be performed by Inner City Brass.

Prayer Guild the next meeting will take place on Tuesday 7 June, 7.30pm, at 17 St Bernards Court.

The Social Responsibility Quiz night will be in All Saints’ church this Friday 10 June. Tickets are on sale at the back of church after the Service today.
