A date for your diary - RINGAPPEAL: The bellringers have booked the town centre street collection, in aid of the tower and bells restoration, for Saturday 2 July and need volunteers. If anyone could help by "shaking" a tin for an hour or two that day between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m., please contact Tricia Newton (01844 352926).

Breathe – Wednesday 29 June at 8pm in All Saints. An informal time of worship, prayer and bible study. All Welcome.

Hymns with Pimms – Saturday 9 July at 3pm in the church. We’ll put together the Pimms and afternoon tea but it’s up to YOU to choose the hymns! Look out for the bidding slips – decide just how much your hymn is worth, fill in a slip and put it in the box provided or hand it to either one of us. The highest 8 bids received by Monday 4th July are guaranteed to have their hymns played on the day. You can keep track of the “bidding war” by checking the chart at the back of church. The afternoon tea will cost £5 and tickets are now available for purchase. Thistle Martin & Lis Burns

The Quiz Tea in aid of Ringappeal which was to be held on Sunday 17 July has had to be postponed. It is hoped that it will be in early September, please watch this space!

A theatre trip to see Warhorse Its rare to find a show which is attractive to both adults and children while being one of the biggest theatre success stories in recent years. This play has just picked up a clutch of Tony Awards with more awards to come. We are lucky to have a member of our congregation working at the theatre. Before booking seats for sometime in September we would like to know how many of you would like to go. We can then work out costs and a possible date. The larger the group the better the discount on coach and tickets. As with other trips we will be setting aside a few seats for our Homeless Community to have the use of. Please email the Church Office or speak to either Myra Rodrigues or myself in church. Joe Arthur

Many thanks for all your support in collecting and donating to this year’s Christian Aid Appeal. £1276 has been banked so far. Neil and Chris Lamb

Wanted! Your empty glass jars - ideally still with lids but not essential. Please hand them to either Lis Burns or Thistle Martin by Monday 4th July. Thank you.

Plant Stall Saturday 9 July at 3pm – I do hope the gardeners among you will be able to provide some lovely plants in aid of All Saints’ as usual. Please label items and remember nothing too heavy, too tall, or too tiny as it will not sell. Some more helpers very welcome – especially on the evening of Friday 8th. Some knowledge of plants an advantage! Thanks Rosemary Vere.

Karaoke Disco & West Indian Buffet - Saturday 1 October...more details will follow nearer the date.

St Andrew’s Bookshop in Great Missenden will be holding 2 workshops in July on enamelling and soap making.
Saturday 9 July 11-12pm and 3-4pm
Saturday 16 July 11-12pm and 3-4pm
If you would like to attend please email gm@standrewsbookshop.co.uk, or call 01494 862168 or alternatively pop in to the shop and speak to a member of the team.
