The Tuesday Lunchtime concert in All Saints’ this week will be performed by The Brook Ensemble String Duo.

A date for your diary - The Social Responsibility Quiz night will be in All Saints’ church on Friday 10 June. Tickets are now on sale at the back of church after the Sunday Morning Service.

The Parish Office will be closed on Friday 3 June, deadline for Parish News is 9am Weds 1 June.

Hymns with Pimms on Saturday 9 July at 3pm in the church. Come and sing your favourite hymns, enjoy an afternoon tea, browse around the various stalls and raise funds for the All Saints Appeal. Tickets will be available from early June. All offers of items for the cake & home produce stall gratefully received. Please see Thistle Martin or Lis Burns for further details.

Lighthouse 2011 - July 25-29 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. This year we need more helpers than ever as this will take place on two sites in Wycombe. We will mainly be working with Highcrest site but help is needed at Cressex too. How might you get involved? Leaders and helpers, Sports Team, Crafts, Admin, Parents and
Toddlers, Prayer Team, Refreshments, Site team, even Cleaners are a vital part of this outreach to children. Please consider how you could help, even for a small part of the week. A number of forms are available on the new shelves at the back of church. Financial support - retiring collections will now be taken after the 9.45 service, for two weeks, on the 5 and 12 June. This will allow people to come prepared! Craft collection - a large number of small items are needed for craft workshops, including kitchen roll middles, wooden clothes pegs, paper plates, Zoo animal stickers, Primark brown paper carrier bags, green garden canes (60cm size). MEND THE GAP - Saturday 18 June, 10am -3.30pm
A day organised by the Diocese for eveyone working with, or just caring about children and young people in church. A day of practical ideas and inspirational talks from the Bishop of Oxford and other experienced Leaders. For more info please contact Cathy Picken at cathypicken@live.co.uk

Plant Stall Saturday 9 July at 3.00pm – A bit late this year but unavoidable, so I do hope the gardeners among you will be able to provide some lovely plants in aid of All Saints’ as usual. Please label items and remember nothing too heavy, too tall, or too tiny as it will not sell. Some more helpers very welcome – especially on the evening of Friday 8th. Coach Trip to Wells Cathedral, 6th August 2011
The trip will include a group tour of the cathedral and we can enjoy a concert rehearsal there, which is in preparation for a full Baroque Concert on a later date.

The People’s Bible is a national tour which will produce a unique, hand-written edition of the Bible. At venues across the country, people will be able to write a pair of verses to join the occasion and make their mark in history. For further information go to www.thepeoplesbible.org
