The Tuesday Lunchtime concert in All Saints’ this week will be performed by Emily Andrews – Flute and Christopher Hopkins – Piano.

Do you have a favourite hymn that you rarely get the chance to sing? In addition to the new request box at the back of church, we are pleased to offer you another opportunity to select the music and exercise your vocal chords. Join us for Hymns & Pimms (or a non-alcoholic alternative!) on Saturday 9 July at 3pm in the church. Lighthouse 2011 - July 25-29 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED. This year we need more helpers than ever as this will take place on two sites in Wycombe. We will mainly be working with Highcrest site but help is needed at Cressex too. How might you get involved? Leaders and helpers, Sports Team, Crafts, Admin Parents and
Toddlers, Prayer Team, Refreshments, Site team, even Cleaners are a vital part of this outreach to children in our area. Please consider how you could help, even for a small part of the week. A date for your diary - The Social Responsibility Quiz night will be in All Saints’ church on Friday 10 June. Tickets are now on sale at the back of church after the Sunday Morning Service.
MEND THE GAP - Saturday 18 June, 10am -3.30pm A day organised by the Diocese for eveyone working with, or just caring about children and young people in church. Plant Stall Saturday 9 July at 3.00pm – A bit late this year but unavoidable, so I do hope the gardeners among you will be able to provide some lovely plants in aid of All Saints’ as usual. Please label items and remember nothing too heavy, too tall, or too tiny as it will not sell. Some more helpers very welcome – especially on the evening of Friday 8th. ‘Walk of Hope’ in the Chilterns in aid of The Leprosy Mission. Saturday 18 June, 10am, starting from the Bridgewater Monument, Ashridge Estate. The walks are 4 or 6 miles. Further details from the Parish Office or email billh@tlmew.org.uk
Saltmine Theatre Company announces their next theatre production will be The Pilgrim’s Progress. Adapted by David Robinson and Richard Hasnip this brand new dramatisation of John Bunyan’s classic work is set in the industrial revolution and promises to bring this remarkable allegorical story to life for a new generation. The Pilgrim’s Progress will be performed at The Elgiva theatre, Chesham on Saturday 2July. For tickets please call 01494 582900.
The next Social Responsibility Coach Trip run by Joe and Myra will take place on Saturday 6 August. We shall be visiting Wells Cathedral (and Simon Rose, former verger of All Saints). As before we shall be taking a few homeless people with us. Any profits will be split between PACT (Parent and Children Together) and the Church Urban Fund. PACT is involved with adoption and fostering, family centres and community services in the Oxford Diocese. The Church Urban Fund project workers help churches in deprived areas of the UK reach out to their local communities in practical ways, and take action where they see a need. SR Committee
